A very pretty lady sighed heavily as she stood by the window in her pretty violet Chiton watching the horizon remembering a week ago when the army squad marched away; her husband was with them too, going to for a quest in the sea to get something secretive for the king while she waited for him in their small house to come back to her
Watching from the window the lady sighed holding onto her violet handkerchief in her hands wiping a warm tear that trailed down her face, it wasn't the first time her husband went out on a quest but this time it was different and she felt bad about it, she pleaded with him not to go and to stay beside her but he smiled at her and refused, even though he loved her with all his power, even though he wanted nothing but stay with her he couldn't. He wasn't going to go against the king; he wasn't going to refuse a royal order no matter what
Standing there watching the sunset behind the sea tears trailed down her face, he didn't even know she was pregnant with their first baby, she couldn't tell him as she only found out after he left, she wondered if he will ever be back to see him, to see their baby and hold him, to announce him his and raise him with her, sighing again she placed a hand on his still flat tummy and remembered how her husband used to hug her softly and warmly
A soft knock on the house's door brought her back to reality so wiping her tears and making sure she looked alright and that the Chiton and the girdle were perfect she sighed and went to answer it. There stood a guard waiting for her, bowing he handed her a small scroll wrapped in a black ribbon, looking at the scroll her heart fell, she couldn't believe it, her entire body was shaking as she clinched tightly on her tummy feeling like dying right now, feeling like the air around her was gone so suddenly, she didn't need to open the scroll to know what happened, this scroll was only delivered to the soldier's family when the soldier is dead, in other words her husband was dead!
With tears filling her eyes she covered her mouth with her hands and fell on the ground crying and sobbing, the soldier felt pity for her; it was obvious in the way he looked at her but then he sighed and spoke:' his majesty the king asked for you'
She didn't seem to listen as she cried more and more on the floor so sighing the soldier repeated again and again till she finally nodded and weakly stood up, one hand holding the doorframe for support while the other on her tummy she stood up and forced herself to calm down, to breath and stop crying, it was bad to cry when you're pregnant, it could affect your baby, and right now, the baby was the only thing she had left from her lover, she was going to cherish him dearly and take good care of him no matter what. This baby became the only reason she will wake up every day for now
Slowly and weakly she took a step forward, closing the house door behind her she walked slowly to the castle, even though she had stopped crying she still felt broken
'Did… did anyone get his body back?' she asked softly and weakly
The soldier stood still looking at her; she was so pretty, mesmerizing actually, and her voice was so sweet, even when grieving and crying she looked so breath taking, so looking at her the soldier knew why she was called the prettiest woman in the kingdom, even the queen was no match for her.
'The ship sank in the sea, it was the wish of the gods' the soldier stated and she nodded, she didn't say anything to this, how could she go against the wish of the gods? If the gods decided to take her husband away then she had no right to say no or refuse this. Walking again she didn't say anything and the soldier again went to wonder why a pretty lady like her would marry an ordinary soldier like that, he wasn't rich, not handsome and not young, he was ten years older than her and although many rich men in her age proposed to her she married him, why? No one but her knew
Reaching the castle they entered, guards were eyeing her everywhere she went and with every step she took she felt uneasy and worried, the same feeling in her heart that told her not to allow her husband to go on that quest told her to run away and never come back, it told her not to go on with this, it told her not to see the king
'Do… do you know why did his majesty ask to see me in the throne hall?' she whispered again
'I don't and it's not in the throne hall he will be seeing you' the soldier went on walking and the lady walked slower and slower after him, the king won't be seeing her in the throne hall but somewhere else, why? What did that mean?
As she walked she prayed to the gods to help her, she prayed to save her baby and protect him hoping that some god will take pity on her and her baby and will protect them from any harm
Soon the soldier stopped, he bowed a little to her and opened a wooden door:' wait here'
Entering the room the soldier went to inform the king for sure, sighing again in bitterness she looked around, it was a bedroom? Why would the king ask to meet her in a bedroom?
Suddenly it all clicked together in her head, everything happened after the festival at the beginning of the summer, she was with her husband and they saw the king, they bowed to him and he noticed her for sure because ever since then her husband was way too busy to come home and then the quest he was ordered to go on to god knows where for no known reason and him dying there mysteriously too, and now, the king wants to meet her in a bedroom, she had heard about the king and about him being a womanizer before but never she thought that he would go that far as killing her husband just to get to her!
Looking around she began to panic, she needed to get out of here fast! She had to escape the kingdom and disappear so no one will find her, if the king found out she's pregnant he would kill her baby for sure, just like he killed his father and she had to protect her baby, she had too no matter what!
Rushing to the door she opened it quietly, no one was there, quickly she sneaked out of the room and began to walk away as fast as she could escaping this, escaping this place but as she was new in the big castle she lost her way fast and took the only guards free way she could find
Walking and walking, going up and down the stairs the lady finally found herself in front of a long stairway and at once she realized where she was, she was out of the palace now, she was in front of the stairway leading to Jaejoong's temple for sure, behind her was the sound of movement, the guards must be searching for her now, nowhere was safe for her to hide now, nowhere but if the god took pity on her baby
Rushing up the stairway panting she didn't care that she had been running for more than two hours now, she didn't care for anything but her baby, the only and best gift her husband left her and she was going to cherish it and protect it or die trying to.
Reaching the temple she entered at once, it was empty, so, looking around she rushed to kneel in front of the huge fifteen meter long statue and began to sob and cry pleading in her heart that the god will protect her, jaejoong after all was the queen of the gods, he was like their mother and he knew her feelings for sure so he may pity her and help her
Soon another woman entered the temple, an old lady whose back was arched already by the years as she used a wooden stick to help her walk and to support her weight, softly she entered the temple and patted the lady's back smiling warmly at her
The lady turned to look at the old woman with watery eyes and pleading look hoping that this old lady would help her, hoping that the gods sent her here to help her
'Why are you crying my dear? come with me' the old lady smiled softly and reached a wrinkled, shaking hand to help the lady on her feet and sobbing she told the old lady everything about the king
'Come with me then, I'll take care of you and your baby' the old woman smiled and showed the lady a secret passageway hidden behind jaejoong's right foot
Entering the passageway and waiting for the old lady to close it behind her the lady could hear the sounds of the guards entering the temple looking for her
Search everywhere till you find her!
She must be hiding here, we saw her enter before!
The king wants her alive, remember that!
Afraid that they will reach her she rushed with the old woman down this long stairway till they reached a solid wall, thinking this is the end the lady was about to give up but then again the old lady tapped a stone with her stick and a secret door opened for them to go out into this empty field where a horse was waiting for them
'Let's get out of this kingdom' the old lady smiled softly straddling the horse with the lady behind her and at once the horse began to run.
Looking back tears again threatened to trail down her face, she was leaving everything here to go and start a new life with this old woman she didn't know to protect her baby, that's right, she must do anything to protect her baby, he had her husband's blood in him, he will be brave and pure hearted like him for sure.

The old lady sighed as she quickly glanced at the stars from the tiny room in the tiny house she and the lady were living in, looking back at the past nine months, they were like a dream; everything happened so fast, they ran away to this kingdom close by and as the lady sold every piece of jewelry she had but the wedding ring that she hid safely for her baby they were able to buy this old house and live in it. She had told everyone that the lady was her daughter and that her husband was killed in war and people believed them, they didn't mix with anyone but lived alone a quiet life and tonight…tonight something strange was happening in the sky, something was happening in Olympus
Five stars, the most powerful five stars were all lined up together, that never happened before and it just happened that tonight the lady was going to give birth to her baby, she was trying her best to help her but it was hard and she was so weak
'Push dear, push' a woman whispered to the lady in the bed covered with sweat and shivering
'Aahhhhh!!!'
'I can see the head! Push! One last time come on' the old lady held the baby's head for support and tried to help the poor lady
Closing her eyes she gathered all her strength to push again, she was so weak, she had been getting weaker lately and now she felt so tried, so weak that she couldn't go on and she was bleeding a lot and none of the five women around her could help her give birth to her baby
'I got him… oh look it's a pretty baby boy, just like you dear' the old lady held the baby boy in her hands for the mother to see
Smiling weakly the woman looked at her baby, he looked amazing, just like her but he had his father's skin, white and milky
'Junsu' she whispered weakly and closed her eyes… with that she was gone.
