Yoochun stepped into the main temple again; everyone was in his place, even siwon who was still looking like a young lady, everyone waiting for him especially the frowning yunho who was shaking his foot all the time with anger clearly in his eyes, Yoochun had asked for this gathering in the worst time ever, seriously, and now he had to stop his privet time to this
'This better be good Yoochun, you just…' hissed yunho but Yoochun cut him off
'Junsu could see auras, reflections of feelings and all' he hissed back and sat on his throne looking around
'W…what?' blinked Heechul, auras all gods could see but feeling reflections only the god of love and beauty, himself, could see
'How?' yunho frowned, looking at his brother he could see that Yoochun knew something or suspected it anyway
'It could be one of the two… and each one is crazier than the other' Yoochun began ' one, he's related to Heechul or siwon, a son or something which would explain the beauty and some bunch of things… two, he's…' Yoochun didn't go on
'I never…did any mortals' Heechul frowned ' I prefer gods and semi gods but still, no it can never be mine'
'Neither have I ' joined siwon, looking at him Sungmin held back a chuckle, siwon did look weird in his lady disguise and pink Chiton on
'Then… what's the other explanation?' frowned yunho looking at his brother
'That…' Yoochun hesitated
'That the boy got the jewel that dropped to earth, the one cursed by the queen and Heechul, the god of love, to reflect emotions' changmin frowned looking at his uncle
Yoochun nodded
'What?'
'No way'
'Can't be'
'I think this is the only possible explanation, beside he was the only one on the beach that night and we couldn't find the jewel, my soldiers searched everywhere for it and didn't find it'
'But then he must possess powers to keep the curse working' siwon frowned
'I think he does, not that he's aware of but he does' whispered Yoochun
'Uncle… I… I think I need you to come with me somewhere before this gathering goes on' changmin looked at Yoochun as if he was growing an extra head
'You found something' yunho knew the look in his son's eyes
'Baby?' kibum asked softly kissing Changmin's palm
'I need to make sure, I need to go make sure first but I need uncle to go with me…only him can'
'Let's go, we don't have much time and we must prepare to fight against that back stabber Shindong' Yoochun stood up and walked to changmin crossing the circle ' where to?'
'The ocean' changmin whispered taking Yoochun's hand and as they began to disappear and he made sure no one else will hear them he whispered ' to where the sirens are'
Frowning Yoochun just nodded and led the way to the siren's flowery island
Reaching the island in the middle of the ocean changmin flinched at the sight, the dead bodies of male sailors around like shells on the beach and yet the sweet melodic song rang in Changmin's ears at once inviting him to step forward, to explore the beauty and leading him to his death
Yoochun held on Changmin's hand at once and whispered something, the sound of the song vanished at once replaced by a sharp yell, a female yell and something flew into the air and landed in front of them on the sand, on top of the bones of one of the poor sailors who were killed by the same song they just heard
'Gods are present on the island' another voice whispered and another woman with big eagle wings landed standing before them, she was with such a beauty and a pleasant voice that changmin had to close his eyes for a second to focus and not be lured into her trap
'Answer our questions or I'll destroy your island' threatened Yoochun and the two sirens hissed
'Twenty years ago…' changmin began ' the third siren vanished, killed you believe… do you know anything about her?'
'She was useless…'
'She fell for the mortal…'
'He wasn't affected by the song, he wasn't killed. We couldn't kill him too…too strong'
Yoochun frowned
'Where did this mortal came from? What's his name? What happened to him?'
The sirens looked at each other and didn't answer
'ANSWER OR DIE!!' roared Yoochun and his trident appeared in his right at once, stomping the trident on the rocky ground once the entire island began to shake harshly
'He came with a ship filled with sailors…'
'They all died… he survived the song, he survived the storm… he reached here and fought us, he promised not to kill us if we left him alone to build a small ship from the trees and sail back home'
'She began to watch him every day, he caused her icy heart to melt, she fell for him!!' spat the siren on the ground as if this was the worst sin ever, the most disgusted thing ever
'And?'
'He went to her every night, telling her about his world, about his dreams and everything'
'When did she vanish?'
'The day he finished the boat and sailed away, she vanished that night'
'So they ran away together?' blinked Yoochun
'A siren can't live without the sea; it's a part of us'
'But there is a way to turn mortal, to stop being a siren and still you would be magical, you were created magical and the powers would be in her veins' changmin mumbled to himself
'How do you know she died?'
'When a siren dies another is born and we feel it, the bound between our blood tells us when one of us dies, eighteen years ago we felt her die and a new siren was born, our third sister, but she vanished too, not dead still'
'So she vanished for two years, lived with him I suppose and died eighteen years ago… that…when did the new siren vanish?'
'A few moons ago' hissed a siren spreading her wings 'but there is a new one… a fourth one' hissed the siren on the ground standing up
'A fourth one?' blinked Yoochun ' there is only three, how could there be a fourth?'
'We heard her calling for us, singing in the sea, we were going to get her, to guide her home when you banished us and made us leave'
'When did…'
'But she's different, we feel it from her voice, she's not like us'
'I see…' changmin looked at Yoochun ' let's go back uncle'
Nodding Yoochun held onto Changmin's hand and they disappeared to reappear in the main temple, changmin looked like thinking really hard while Yoochun was confused
'What's it changmin?' yunho frowned and waited till changmin took his place beside his husband
'Father… I think I know what the boy is, why he's connected to uncle and why does Shindong want him'
'Speak, now!'
'He's the son of a siren' whispered changmin looking into everyone faces and seeing the shock reflect on them
Unbelieving noises and sounds echoed everywhere but yunho raised his hand and all sound went dead:' explain'
Changmin took a deep breath and nodded his head:' a siren disappeared twenty years ago, she ran with a mortal, she turned herself mortal by melting her icy heart I believe, she married the man and got pregnant with his baby… he was killed and she ran away to protect her baby, remember your majesty? The king wanted her as his mistress because of her beauty, he fell for her beauty because she's a siren, one of the most charming and luring creatures there is… but you protected her and her baby, she ran from the king and still he didn't forget about her, because siren cause you to get possessed with them, you can't forget them and so he wanted her no matter what… he chased her but she died giving birth to her baby, a part mortal part siren baby… his mother's blood in his veins gave him her powers too… the sirens said they felt a fourth one, him, when he was in the sea…'
'That is crazy' Yesung frowned
'This is so messed up' sighed kangin
'But it doesn't make sense'
'It will, if I tell you everything from the beginning. I think I can now, I can reveal the secrets now'
'Do tell then' yunho frowned and everyone held his breath back listening to changmin talk…
