Sitting together with all the gods waiting for eunhyuk to come back junsu watched the newborn baby god Nike sleep peacefully in jaejoong's hands, yunho was talking to yoochun about something, the two of them were a little bit away from the rest so no one will hear their chat
Suddenly, in the midst of the silence yesung appeared, panting a little as he dropped into his throne and wept his sweat away
'What happened?' yunho and yoochun rushed to him as sungmin too appeared now dropping into his own throne just beside his husband
'His army is finished… I had to use a lot of soldiers but we managed to drop most of his soldiers into Styx and kill the ones left, his army is no more but he left, he vanished before the fight ended and I don't know where did he go to' panted yesung
'He vanished?' frowned changmin and yesung nodded
'He must have had other things to do; he didn't care about his army anymore knowing he will have a stronger power when the last star aligns soon'
'Then we must stop him, we got our powers back and we…' yunho began
'But we can't… father, remember he got our weapons so he's stronger for now, he can copy our powers and use them against us if he wants to'
'So what do we do now?' frowned yunho, he didn't like this, he didn't like having to sit here and not being able to do anything, feeling helpless was killing him and he couldn't take it
'We must think of a way to keep the seventh star from aligning with the rest' changmin frowned thinking hard
'It's about time for my journey' whispered kangin softly, time was something that right now they didn't have plenty of, and they had to make use of every minute they got
'You must go, the sun must shine upon the earth today or we will lose the mortals again' changmin reasoned and kangin nodded his head, going on the journey meant to leave for all day long, not to be able to be with his wife or know what's going on with the other gods but he had to go, just as changmin said, they can't afford to lose the mortals right now
'And in the meanwhile we will think of a way to stop the seventh star from aligning' yunho sighed and kangin left
'Yesung and sungmin, you two go and rest, we will need you in top shape for the final battle' yunho ordered and the two gods vanished bowing their heads
'The mortals had been informed' eunhyuk appeared bowing ' they will pray to and respect the two new gods for sure'
'Good' hissed yoochun
'But now what?' jaejoong's voice rose in the silence
'I…' changmin bit his lip, he wasn't sure, he didn't want to give false hope nor to pressure the boy but he was thinking that maybe junsu was the only one to stop the stars from aligning, he was the one born on the night they aligned the first time, he must of have a connection to them that other don't, right?
'What's it?' kibum saw the way his wife was acting at once
Heechul was depressed, simply depressed, standing at the side, seeing couples hugging and comforting each other in this hard time while he stood alone was killing him, Siwon too had left to earth and his lover was nowhere around him, he was lonely and cold, he was sad and depressed of everything around him
'Changmin, I know that look so talk already!' yunho's voice echoed a few times in the castle as thunder roared outside, that gave heechul a start and brought him back to reality so he will turn to look at changmin who still looked troubled
'What's it?' jaejoong whispered and changmin opened his mouth voicing out his thought about the stars and junsu
'I see' jaejoong nodded ' you might got a point there but how do we know for sure, we can't be sure of that'
'Before…' yunho's voice rose again and everyone turned to look at him as he spoke facing junsu ' as I say him looking at the stars I looked too, for a split second I… I thought I saw two stars shake in their places as if about to break the fine line but then everything stopped… could it be that…'
'Su was doing that?' yoochun finished for his brother and yunho nodded
'I… I think I saw the second and fifth star shivering a little too' whispered junsu lowly as if unsure
'The stars of the queen and heechul' nodded yunho ' the same ones I saw'
Changmin blinked and frowned
'So he does have a connection to the stars' whispered leeteuk softly, if anything he should be the one with connection to the stars, being the god of the moon and all but he couldn't feel anything, the boy managed to make the two stars shiver a little? That didn't make much of a sense to him
'But… I didn't do anything, I was just looking at the stars, I didn't use any power' mumbled junsu at once ' I just thought that if the stars broke the line then the troubles will end'
'You must try again, you must try again and again and master whatever power you used the first time to break the line, even if one star broke the line by a little then it will end and the battle would be won and you must master it by today!' ordered yunho
'But… I don't know what I used' junsu's eyes began to water up and he sniffed softly, this pressure was killing him, how could he master a power he doesn't have? As junsu sniffed and as tears trailed down his face turning into pearls the second they dropped down on the cloudy ground something strange happened outside in the still dark sky
'Look at the stars!' kibum yelled and everyone turned to look, the same two stars were glittering again, shivering in their place as if about to explode or break line any second but then in a second it all vanished and the stars froze in their spots in the straight line
'I…' junsu shivered sniffing more and fisting his palms, he really didn't know what was going on
'It's alright baby' yoochun whispered at once, the sky was brightening up as kangin had gotten into his chariot and began flying it above the castle, yoochun hugged junsu and kissed his hair patting his head softly calming him down
'We must have a plan b, no matter what we must' changmin whispered
'What to do?' frowned yunho waiting for the god of wisdom to come up with something
'We should lure shindong out, sneak into his castle and steal one of the weapons back, when we do that we will be able to control the power again and break the line of the stars'
'It won't work' frowned kibum
'And why is that?' hissed an angry yunho
'The weapons had used so much power, they will need to recharge before being able to do that, and it will take a lot of time'
'So what do we do now?' eunhyuk whispered, afraid
'I think we should start planning the fight with the titans again, I mean it seems like we won't be able to stop the seventh star but we must stop the titans at any cost' whispered changmin realizing exactly how shocking his words were by seeing the shock on everyone's face
'H…how do one open the gate of Tartarus?' whispered junsu hesitating, not knowing if it was his right to know this
'When the seven stars align then the gate will crack, to open the gate you will need a magical blood, spilling magical blood on the cracking gate will break it open and the titans will walk out free' whispered jaejoong explaining
'What's inside Tartarus?' whispered junsu again
'All the titans are in it, Typhon too; and they're really evil baby, as evil and powerful as shindong, they are huge too and the Hecatonchires guard the gates… but they won't stand in shindong's face if he unsealed the gates. He will kill them for sure' explained yoochun softly to his lover and junsu flinched, it was bad enough to deal with one shindong but shindong plus a lot of angry, evil and powerful titans was too troublesome
'So what do we do?' donghae frowned
'Wait a second' whispered changmin and walked to his baby son sleeping in a charming, cloudy cradle that yunho had created for his beloved grandson, walking to his baby changmin pulled the himation that was covering the baby up a little and looked upon him, he was so tiny and pretty, it was hard to believe that just hours ago he didn't even exist with them or that he came from him, that he had given birth to him, to such a beautiful thing
'Shindong would need a magical blood to unseal the gates' whispered changmin
Everyone nodded
'Whom will he use?' jaejoong finished, his eyes glittering with something that only he and changmin understood
'Err… care to explain a little?' yunho frowned
'It's simple, even if the stars aligned, shindong needs a pure blood to open the gates, a pure magical blood so he will go after a magical creature, more likely a Pegasus because it's pure, magical and made out of light. He will try to slay the Pegasus above the seal to unleash the titans… we must stop that and make him slay something else, something evil and dark, that's all what it will take to make his so perfect plan fall apart' whispered changmin and everyone smirked, that might just work
From the back, just beside the wall something invisible moved, shifted a little and vanished at once with an evil smirk on his face, this was going to be the end… the end of everything as they knew it…
