So everyone at the Academy Awards are dressed in their best formal attire.
The men with sleek tuxudeo's and the women with their beautiful flowing gowns and dresses.
That's what you're SUPPOSED to wear cuz it's a FORMAL event
I didn't get to see much of the Oscars tonight but I did see Three Six Mafia(rap group) win best song.

I disagree, they were my favorite.
They were dressed as you expect rappers to dress, and honestly no one expected them to win, so why dress?
Also they were the most excited about their award and for good reason.
They were actually happy and excited when everyone one else was just bleah.
I agree when John Stewart said, "Everyone should act like that when they get an Oscar!"
Plus the Oscars, as a whole are largely political, aside from a very few categories.
It will never be "Old Hollywood" again, can't be.
So it doesn't have to be respectable when, how can you respect it?
*Shrug* If you're going to get upset with them for being the only ones comfortable then be upset with Ben Stiller wearing a green leotard, or the guys bringing stuffed penguins, or the ones who brought rainbow bowties for their statues.

The bow ties cracked me up. I was like...what the heck are they wearing? And then when they put it on the statue I couldn't stop laughing.

But I agree with you, it was nice that someone was actually excited to win. The only other one that really affected me at all was Reese Witherspoon, who made me cry.
