Meg had the evol hellhounds, yes. Jo was the daughter who died, and I forget her mom's name. Neither of them ever struck me as particularly compelling characters.

I like the light-hearted stuff too. I know some people feel like SPN is srs bsns, but I don't. I love seeing the actors have fun with the material.

The way those names conflicted with each other, and they all came together in the episode that way before I even knew who Jo was, was deeply confusing. I should've remembered Meg's name, but that was half a season ago now, and it really threw me since Jo was Meg on VM. Mrmmfgh, it makes my brain hurt just trying to explain it.

Ellen maybe? Or Helen? She did not appear terribly interesting, no. Am I the only one who thought it really undermined Jo's whole heroic sacrifice attempt that she either passed out or died before she could carry out her mission? (I guess they took too long to say goodbye??) If the mom hadn't sacrificed herself too, it would've been a total waste and possibly could have gotten the others hurt or killed. Maybe the writers didn't really like Jo either?

Yay! I'm with Dean; bring on the fun and the laughter, with the Caruso-mocking and the salt-top removal and the random Dean-and-Sam bitching at each other. I don't like the episodes where they're in pain because I loves them so. I dread the coming ( ... )

I was thinking Ellen too, but I wasn't sure, and then I didn't care enough to look it up, cause she never interested me that much, and anyway, she's dead now.

I felt it semi-undermined her sacrifice that she died before she could detonate the thing, but maybe she felt like she could let go cause her mom was there? Like she'd have hung on if she needed to, but since she didn't, it was like screw it? I don't know.

If you don't like the episodes where they're in pain, you are going to hate seasons 3 and 4. Does it help that Dean is very, very pretty when they're in pain? And you just want to hug and pet him? I was reassured by someone that it's okay to like seeing Dean in pain, that everyone in the fandom does and it's not just me.

Cause I mean really. We're talking really, really pretty.

They both are, and I declare myself 0% sad at their passing (passings?). I have now met (H)ellen and Amy in show time for the first time, and I don't like them at all. Mr. B. agrees. So many shows try to establish female characters as badass with the following ploy: "Oh, look, these chicks trapped the badass male characters; they must be awesome!" But it usually just falls flat on its face. As it did in Everybody Loves A Clown. Do you concur ( ... )
