so i have to get a root canal in october. i went to the dentist today for this killer tooth ache, and they informed me that the entire inside of my tooth was a cavity, so they basically hollowed it out and packed it with medicine and put a crown on it. it costs a lot of money to fix a tooth

yeah dude, I had pretty much the same thing but the cavity was so big they couldnt put a crown on it so I had half a root canal done for nothing. It really wasn't that bad though, the anistesia is the worst part. Lucky for me it's my very back tooth so they can just pull it and my wisdom tooth will come in. since my insurance is out I pretty much just have half a tooth hanging out, being really sharp and pointy.
