Though we hunger, though all that we eat brings us little relief,
We don't know quite what else to do;
We have all our beliefs, but we don't want our beliefs...
God of Peace, we want You.

Bullshit. The wages of sin is death. Belief doesn't matter a whit, not wanting it to be true doesn't mean spit. It is what it is. If you want Him, then what are you doing/thinking when you disobey Him?

if you wrong someone you love, does that mean you don't love them anymore? no. does that make it okay? no.
so who is this anyway?

"If you love me, you will obey what I command." John 14:15
"No one who lives in Him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen Him or knows Him." I John 3:6
"No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God." I John 3:9
" This is love for God: to obey His commands. And His commands are not burdensome." I John 5:3

Don't you understand the doctrine of your own faith? Or, are you an "a la carte" christian who only obeys what they like in the Word? You seem to have pulled out a few passages and turned them into license to do whatever you please...

well, as i said, that doesn't make it right. i don't put words in the Lord's mouth, friend. i know what he says and i know how i wrong him. thank you, but i'm fully aware of my situation. i really don't feel the need to justify my actions and feelings to some faceless person over the internet. i'm sure you feel God has given you the mission of judging the sinful via livejournal, but until you're willing to admit who you are, i consider you a coward, not worthy of my time. thanks for the passages, though.
