7:30am now, but I was deeply engrossed in very serious business! ...yes, alright, I was slacking off and messing around in photoshop. Meh. I enjoy it - I think I've finally gotten control of the tablet! :D I'm seeing a big improvement compared to when I was just starting out.

Ah, dragons.

They tend to either be too cute, or too bony. But there are some that I like. :)

* The conbadge that Amara made for me. Most dragons don't have antlers, but that gives you the basic face idea.

* This image by XianJaguar has always been a favorite as well.

(Unfortunately, it looks like a lot of the dragon images that I like have fallen off the net.)

Also, Draco from Dragonheart: while I'm not a fan of his facial design, they got how he moves RIGHT. See a dragon? Think cat. The best dragons move more like a cat than like a lizard.

Thanks for the links! I'm still not sure how I feel about ear sail's (Do those have an actual name?). Personally I like dragons with horns/antlers more than the sails, though there is some really good designs with the sails as well. :)

I haven't seen Dragonheart in forever! I'm going to have to watch that again to remember anything from it...I think I'll keep an eye out for a copy of that next time I'm at wal-mart or best buy. ^_^

I waffle about the "ear sails." I think it really depends on the style of the rest of the dragon.

(And I just found this site today, although you've probably already seen it.)

Yeah, good point. One little feature can make or break a design, but enough good ones will carry everything so well that you just can't help but enjoy every aspect just a little! ...or I'm very easily swooned. :P

Yup, I have seen that site before. I must admit it's not really my cup of tea, but to each their own. Certainly has lots of work done though!
