On Sunday nights, Mick & I do homeless outreach. We were on our regular route and met a group of men in a McDonald's parking lot. One of them smiled and told he I looked like that girl on television. The others all start nodding and agreeing - yeah! She looks just like that girl! The one from Kentucky! The one who wouldn't give out marriage

Unfortunate comparisons

Back, oh, a hundred pounds or so ago, I was constantly told I looked like Nicolas Cage. I liked it. Started learning his mannerisms from when he delivered fun lines from his movies.

Then I started working in Spencer's Gifts, another comparison started popping up. One I couldn't stand. Tom Green. I could see it, but hated it.

Then when I gained some weight, my hair was grown out, and didn't have the mustache waxed I started to get Ron Jeremy frequently. Hated that too.

These days its Grizzly Adams or Duck Dynasty guys. I tend to not really acknowledge it anymore.

Oof. My new lady friend told me on our first date that I reminded her of Miranda Hart. It was meant as a compliment but it took my ego some time to recover.

I think your homeless friends' associations are a little loose.
