First, as you may have noticed, the All Feral Kittens All The Time party has ended. This is because they have gone to a new house, where they are loved and adored, which is the best way for those stories to end.
Second, Macavity returned to us after his adventure at his breeders. He came home Saturday night, and went in today to be neutered.

I think toxicities like that are ones we can do hemodialysis for. Not cheap but it can help support them through acute kidney insults like that. I think my clinic is one of the only ones in the pacific northwest - we get cases from Norcal, Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and Canada.
I'm glad she is on the mend though! I can't imagine how scary everything was before you finally got word that she was out of the woods.
Lucy's been hospitalized once - some dumb owner (me) threw away a bottle of mirtazapine in a trash can she had access to. Emesis, charcoal and overnight diuresis with some muscle relaxers got her through, but that was a lot easier as I knew it was just one med she got into, and it hadn't been that long.

Thankfully, after fluids, she had already perked up a little before we left, so it was a little less scary. However, when we called later in the night, her temperature was really low.
Now we're back to the vet for their day of face licking. :)
