First off, I must apologize to some of my CW reenacting buddies for not showing up at the Minooka event this past weekend. Too many "family functions" were going on all at once. Next year, though, I promise! However, I have one reenacting story to tell that some of you reenactors might find humorous . . . sort of

Shhh, don't tell anyone . . . last winter I took out the leather shoe laces and put in rainbow ones, thinking I might wear them last year as a joke. So, yeah, brogans can look cute if you tinker around with them a bit. Hehe!

That's great. Of course part of my problem I think was that mine were too big for me. The Fugawee boots always look cool. I've gotten lots of compliments on them.

Mine are just a tad on the big side too. I suppose that's because we're womyn, and for some dumb reason, no one makes brogans in womyn's sizes (okay, I'm being sarcastic here, because that would only encourage every womyn to want to be a soldier or viv or something).
But yeah, Fugawee is cool.

I wear my Fugawees with EVERYTHING they match EVERYTHING. I think I need another pair....

I'm going to make a swiss waist that matches my uncorseted measurements and wear it, theyre in this year!!!!!

I had the same thought! I saw one in a plus size womyn's store and immediately thought "I wish my sewing machine was here;" almost as good as when corsets were in a couple years ago. Oh, sorry to reply to someone who I don't know. I hope you'll forgive cuz if you are Britta's friend you must be cool
