Yikes. I did see that Lubbock was going to get some bad weather because that area is getting a cool front while we and most of the rest of Texas get to continue to suffer in smoldering heat and I was jealous. The TV weather didn't say a big branch would fall on your car though. Somehow I think they didn't know that. Call Dad or look in the yellow pages for someone to move that branch. They'll probably have to saw it in pieces and take it away. Good luck!

I was actually pulling out of my garage to go to Ashley's house a few blocks away - I packed up my dog because I was home alone and didn't want to be there when the power went out. As soon as I was halfway out of my driveway, my basketball goal fell over right in front of me. If I would have gone any slower, it would have hit me either in the windsheild or the hood... It scared the hell out of me.

I actually drove through a rainstorm on my way back to Lubbock last night. It was fun! And I heard the wind, but it was as I was going to sleep.
