kevin hockenberry came into town this weekend. his grandfather died on the 13th and the funeral was today. I met with him on saturday and he asked me to go to the funeral.. so I did. it was in abernathy ( Read more... )

Granny's funeral was open casket, but they didn't put it by the door so you HAVE to walk by it. That's just not cool. I've been to a couple open caskets and they do tend to be hard to handle.

Sorry you didn't get to go see the BAD movie. =)We'll have to go to drafthouse when you're here! But we won't be watching Take the Lead... nuh uh no way. =) When are you coming in and leaving? I can't believe it's only weeks to graduation time! Can't wait to see you! I MISS YOU!

the thing about granny's funeral is mom didn't tell me about it until 2 weeks afterwards.. that was when I was living in waco and she didn't think I could handle it in the "state" I was in. I'm still mad about that.. I don't care how I was feeling, I would have wanted to go to her funeral. I loved granny so much and I can't believe they didn't tell me.
