I think this is long, so I cut it:
The city has ripped up my street, so I have half a drive way and no sidewalk. Easily could fit 2 lanes in the mess that is here right now. I give them until October of next year to finish, because let's be honest they still haven't finish Springbank.
I stayed at my brother's this weekend, as we were getting our wood floors refinished. That was fun, in the sense that I ate out everymeal and still worked at 5 am each morning.Everything was working out alright, except when the room mates through a party at 3 am on Saturday/Sunday. The yelling screwed with my dreams and so I thought people were looking for a girl named Sarah, and then they found her in the washroom. However after asking Richard about this, apparently there isn't a Sarah. Odd dreams I had that night.
It turns out he has payed rent since he moved in two months ago. He also owed a man over $500 for drugs. Oh the good feelings I've had in the past week.
(I typed Og accidently and thought of the book: The Secret World of Og, which was a personal favourite of mine and would kill for a copy now. Grenn people with their own language living under a river in someone's backyard. It was interesting and funny. Convinced me again of people under my bed that would kill me if I saw them.)
I finally managed to see people on Friday, which was Jen Moroz's birthday. Sadly, she has Mono and didn't join us in the celebration. Jane, Heather, Claire and myself went to Plantation's for a drink/dessert. Chocolate Divine Crepe didn't really live up to it's name, but the brownie part was great. Claire's Oreo cheesecake was good, but nothing to write home about. Heather had apple pie a la mode, which was frickin huge and could have feed a small country. Jane had some form of Blue Margarita. I think I fell asleep at the table, as the waitress was very concerned that I looked dead. Well, I was. I started work at 6 am after no sleep and by that point it was around 11 I think. I could be off on the times.
(I got my Trews/Thornley tickets in the mail. Good times on the 22 to be sure. Must find the directions to Christa's house. I know they are somewhere. Oh and a co-worker has an extra ticket to the Jet/Oasis concert and I am retarded excited to go. Giddier than a school girl meeting Harry Potter.Which comes out in July and I must pre-purchase soon.)
I went out for dinner with Jeff and John on Saturday. To the Runt Club. Oddly, they had a fire in one oven which means the baked items, such as Bruschetta, Garlic bread, Pizza and their awesome Baked Brie was unavailable. We had Calamari, Fettecinni Alfredo with Chicken, Caesar Salad with Chicken and Veal Piccata. Amazing, as always. However I was exhausted and left them early. Very early. 9 ish.
I look at plane tickets and the such. I think I'm flying on the 20th of August, into Glagow and leave on the 6th of September from Gatwick, since that is the cheapest flight I can find. Still expensive but what can ya do?I am also looking into buses/trains/etc tickets. Those are hurting. Going to buy a few books off Amazon tonight on England/London/Scotland on $$ a day. I also need to call some family members and beg for a bed/couch to sleep on.
Other than that, I know nothing. Mainly because no one returns phone calls. That is all for now, sorry about the length of it.
