Warnings: Blood, violence, Jin being Jin (aka insanity)
"Major Jin Kisaragi! Please return to your post! Major!"
The scene unfolds in an mostly empty, but grand-looking military headquarter branch as Noel chases after an injured, limping
young man---Presumably Major Jin Kisaragi--- in a similar uniform as hers. He didn't seem to care that he was bleeding heavily. It was as if he had an important purpose in trying to move forward and away from this girl.
"An order of withdrawal has come from headquarters...!" Noel continued frantically, though her message fell on deaf ears. "If you return now, they'll wipe all charges off your slate... so..."
Seeing that he still wouldn't listen, she reached into her sleeve and pulled out a folded document. She quickly unfolded it to reveal a formal order with a very impressive seal on it, and held it out to show it to Jin.
"Major!" she called out to him once more. "Um, this... This order bears the Seal of the Imperator Librarius...!"
Getting increasingly frustrated, Noel's timid jogging finally evolves into a dash as she quickly moves in front of Jin to block his path. Though she was nervous, she was determined to take him back to the NOL Headquarters.
"Ever since you left, Major... Tsubaki... she's never been the same," she finally said, remembering how depressed her friend looked. Noel knew that Jin and Tsubaki were very close, so maybe that would finally convince him. "So, please...! Please return to your po---"
Her words was cut off by the distinct sound of metal sinking into flesh. Noel eyes widened in surprise, and she was almost paralyzed with fear. She couldn't accept that what she thought had happened to her actually happened, so slowly and stiffly, she looked down...
The cold blade of Major Jin Kisaragi's katana, the Nox Nyctores Yukinaesa, had been drawn and impaled right into Noel's abdomen, her blood already dripping into a growing red puddle on the polished floor.
"Major... Kisaragi..." she choked out weakly as she stumbled when Jin pulled his sword out. She looked up at him tearfully, scared and confused. Why? Why is this happening? Why would he do such a thing?
"Don't look at me like that!" Jin screamed, his face contorted into that of psychopathic rage as he slashed at her again. "Those eyes are...! The same as hers!"
"AACK...!" Noel fell back when the second blow cut into her chest, and landed on the ground with a sickening thud and splash. She... she needed to fight! She had to protect herself!
Still, no matter how hard she tried to call Bolverk, they never came to her, and the pain was just too much. Jin raised his sword again, seeming very intent on cutting away at the girl until she was an unidentifiable mess.
"Why... Why do you...!" The blade came down on Noel again. "Why do you look just like HER!?"
"... M-Major? I'm..." Noel couldn't finish her question as steel once again came into contact with her flesh, and her words were replaced by a blood curdling scream.
"That's right..." Jin's smile was twisted as he proceeded to repeatedly hack away at her. "I need to destroy you...! Just like... Last time...!"
"Agh..." Noel cried weakly as much as her mutilated body would allow her, raising one of her trembling hands and reaching out to the air. "Agh..."
(No...! Stop! Please stop...! I... I don't want to die!)
The vision cuts to black as her crying was silenced by a final swing of a sword.

[The feed abruptly changes to the shaky image of Noel's terrified face, and the view then becomes erratic as she tosses her Dreamberry away and onto her bed. Watching your own death is not cool, especially when it's by the hands of someone you know and you don't know if it's really going to happen.]
