My sewing room
After much frustration with the picture hanging last night, Sean had a brilliant idea involving string and the laser level, and I got everything set up tonight.
I still want to paint the room (more like need at this point with all the extra holes in the wall), but I'll get to that some other time.
One of the main reasons I was itching to get this done- I had very little room to cut fabric, and this space I wanted to use had this pile of pictures on it.
Here's my computer and sewing machine.
That armoire used to be in the living room, and it's sitting where my sewing machine used to be. There's a lot more light on the other side of the room, and a lot more room with it next to the computer.
Here's my cute tattooed lady and ironing board hung up on the wall.
I don't remember if I've shown off my tattooed lady yet, so here she is. I got her at a street festival this spring.
And now that everything looks so nice and put together, I really want to use it. But I can't because I've been getting the house ready for my MIL, SIL, and the kids to come home tomorrow!! Hooray!!! The house is really clean, but Sean had a list of chores that must get done now that he needed me to help with, and turns out they weren't emergency chores after all. Oh well.
