Programmer Clint Curtis claims that four years ago Rep. I wonder if the programmer comes across as halfway credible. If so, you'd think this would be big news.

That was my thought exactly, and then I thought, well, it's in their best interest to discredit him in any way they can, and you know the mainstream news media is currently in one of its farthest swings to the right, and more monopolized than its been in a long time, etc, so...

Hopefully Amy Goodman will get this guy on and interview him in the next few days. When I have a moment I'll go to DN's suggest-a-guest area.

I'm pretty sure it was Daily Kos who (at least in part) broke the news about the Johns Hopkins math prof who 'happened to' get his hands on the Diebold e-voting machine code, had his students pore through miles of code and FOUND the piece of code that grants blanket access to all machines at once. So if this Curtis guy is for real, that's either a second code, or he just used an existing key code that had been used before in other situations (KGB and NSA access, according to Daily Kos.)

For some reason I can receive email from your aol account (I just did get your address) but there is a mailing error if I reply.

I actually tried to direct reply to email you sent me and it gave me the same error to using the address in my email address.

Not sure why. I received and send over 300 emails a day and I don't recognize the error coming up either :)
