What is with Gwen Stefani's obsession with Harajuku girls? I love her new CD, it's great but I think in almost all her songs she mentions them in some way or another...and ugh her video for hollaback girl is sooo annoying. Does she want to BE one or something? She looks like an idiot prancing around like she's 16 in that video. It annoys me.

Oh god, her solo album makes me want to slit my wrists. I like her first single (What you waiting for), but it all goes downhill from there. Pretty much every single song on the album mentions Harajuku girls in it, or is just.. incredibly stupid. And she probably really does wish she were 16 again (think: Bubble Pop Electric). I have a feeling that the reason that this was a solo album is because the rest of No Doubt didn't want to be involved with something so stupid and have every single song about Harajuku girls. ;/
