Grr.

I am about to get my wisdom teeth out. I have ridiculous amounts of anxiety about this. Everyone's been telling me their wisdom teeth horror stories too--you know, to help me relax. Urgh!

At least I got a few days off work. There is no way I'm going back in tomorrow and getting bonked in the head.

I had all four of mine out at once. They knocked me out for it. After a couple of days of ice cream and yogurt and good drugs, I was fine. Hope that really helps (it's the truth, too). ♥

Had all of mine out at once. They gave me the shot (the gas made me queasy) and 30 seconds later I was waking up and being driven home.

Easy peazy. Laid around eating baked potatoes and milk shakes for awhile. Just make sure you do the salt water rinsing and keep properly medicated (it can feel like you have dry socket, when really you just need more drugs).

Wisdom teeth are a bitch. I had all four out (first just one. Later I got all three remaining taken out). Yes, it hurts, but the nice meds they give you make it all better. And I stopped taking the pain meds after one or two pills (IIRC). Impacted is worse than after they've fully broken through. Overall, just try to relax and not to waste good anxiety on your wisdom teeth. ^_~

Here's a good story for you: I didn't feel anything. I took some pills that morning, went in, and the only thing I remember was waking up on the couch at home. It was nice. :) Of course, I slept on-and-off for an entire week after that, but it was alright.

I've not had to go through that, but I do feel for you. And I'll share your pain empathically if that will help!
