heehee I enjoy lying to telemarketers. they were looking for me this time. >:( someone between 18-24. NO THEY'RE NOT HERE. and i know thats not correct grammar, but i didn't want to say she. XD

Eh, I wouldn't worry about "correct grammar," especially in that context. And especially when you're talking to telemarketers :P *g*

My sister's ex boyfriend once told a telemarketer that his dad wasn't home and his mom had died 2 weeks ago when they asked for his parents. This of course was after he said he was younger than 18, heh.

Someone else I knew had a foreign accent and said that she cleaned her own "ducks" when they asked her if they could come clean her "ducts."

Sometimes I wish I could think that quickly.

Yeah, ducks get dirty. I can see a big business venture in going around and cleaning ducks :)

Hmm I think there's actually some limited acceptance of using "they" and "their" to describe a genderless conceptual person..

Yeah, but itr's silly making people write all that his or her crap .. I suppose the powers that be would just want you to write his/him/he and put a disclaimer at the beginning saying it refers to a person of unspecific gender, but PFFT to that. There really should be a solution to possesively referring to a person of either gender in one word.. :)

I do that all the time ;) Mostly because it's fun to annoy the telemarketers, but also cause my parents get mad at *me* when I know it's a TM and hand them the phone anyways ;) heh.
