What the hell? It's just hair!

I'm so irked right now. My mom helped me get a new hairstyle and it's nothing really drastic, but now my dad is upset at either my mom or me. He's in his "non-talking" mood and he's currently brooding in his room. I'm 19 years old, and this is the first time that I have ever done anything different with my hair other than getting it cut.
