A note for all my northern friends...
It's fairly obvious that I am not southern, and I recognize this. I don't pass for a life time local, although since my driver's license still says Virginia. So far, most of the conversations regarding regional norms have been introducing me to something I've never heard of. Like boiled peanuts. Yeah- soggy peanuts would not have occurred to me
