HOLY SHIT.

I caught the scent of suicide in the first few sentences. I love the way you take things from Dean's mind as he lies in bed to Dean's surroundings as he gets up, and his supplication is so Dean and so heartfelt.
Lovely work.

Hee, i thought that "he's given up trying" and the use of "dead to the world" straight off the bat would give people the right idea. Thanks bunches for the comment, it's beyond flattering to inspire a capslock sentence!
