Haha, thank you! I've kind of been nostalgic for that early-season thing where they come to an understanding at the end of the episode, maybe because this season looks like it might be starting to get back into that pattern <3 Glad you liked the flame-thrower!

Only thing that felt a little off was Sam being clumsy, because I never picked that up even when he had just rejoined Dean.

I looooove your Dean. He's so excited about hunting and getting to be a badass monster slayer. And smart, too, coming up with his own theories and things! <3 And the way you write the relationship between the brothers, always implying more that is on the surface, is really good.

Aww, yay! I do love me some cheerful, smart Dean. Him getting excited about the chocolates last ep. was absolutely squee-worthy for me (and the return of the emf detector!!). And the surface/subtext of the brother relationship is something that I really try to work in, so I'm super pleased that it comes across ok. Thanks so much for the comment!

Dean with the flamethrower was sweet!

Funnily enough, i spent half the story obsessing over what John DID get Dean for his 16th birthday, so I was relieved when you finally told me.

I bet that's why Dean was so eager to kill the rugaru in S4- some because it was a monster or whatever, but mostly because they got to kill it with FIRE <3
