Shine on Roseanne!

There are a lot of shows I love to watch, but none of them compare to Roseanne.  I can watch every episode over and over and never get tired of them.  I wish Roseanne had something new and successful.  Her Blonde And Bitchin' standup wasn't too good for me. :(

You know what I really liked about that show? Her house had clutter. It looked like a real house belonging to an average American/Canadian family. Cosby's house, despite four kids and both adults working jobs that should have required 50-60 hour work weeks, was always spic-n-span with no maid in site. At least The Brady's had Alice to excuse the scary-clean condition of their home. Roseanne would have magazines or toys lying around...like a Real Family has.

Exactly! Roseanne was real! Except for when she won the lottery but I guess that is how I would be if I won the lottery as well. You made a good point about the Cosby Show. I never thought about that. I just thought that show was unrealistic because of how patient the parents were and how good the kids were. In a family that large it would be a lot more hectic with people yelling. I never even thought about how immaculate their house was! It's true!

Roseanne's house looks like mine does most of the time. And I only have one kid. lol If I clean it up, it only takes a day to get it right back to where it was. So frustrating.

Have you ever watched Grounded for Life? That's another one the was realistic. They had money problems, kid problems and marriage problems. Most people say that shows like The Cosby Show are an "escape" from real life, but I don't need to see a perfect family. I want to see ones who are more like me. Lower to middle class families just trying to get by.
