Yeah, she's here with my friend Mark. We went to NSA, the amish market, Eurotrip (very funny.), army/navy wrestling (22-9 navy), and watched some family guy. Good time, I'm supposed to go to church with them tomorrow, and should probably be sleeping now, but I cant, even though I feel sorta sick. I was boxing last night, and had practice this ( Read more... )

I certainly can't answer all those questions, but I know what you talkin about. I remember this kid. I thought he was really cool his freshman year and then his sophomore year he turned to this goth like individual, and my hair was still growing out from states so I had prepy highlights in my hair at the end of the growing out process. He came up to me and said "damn blaine" (then proceeded to vigorously rub my head...seemed like it was a bit hateful) and he says "I thought you could be more original than that." It was immature high school shit, but you still think about it. He was so full of that bullshit that he was inspired to give me shit. I was so pissed about that. So I get frustrated with those people. And the ones who are still like that after high school and they are like 22 and 24 and still doing that, then they have become the ones who are afraid to be different. Some people just devote their lives to different things. I also think that some people can't just sit by idly, they feel they have one shot and they should step ( ... )

Psychologically, humans have a "selection effect" when they start to form social groups with their peers to seek out others with similar attitudes and interests--probably for breeding purposes:) When humans first started evolving, something was needed to ensure that the man who had impregnated a woman would stay with her because the human gestation period is 9 months long and child rearing took up more time than other mammmals, so common interest and complex chemical exchanges had to occur between a male and a female to raise a healthy baby. That's what it started out as anyways. I know what you mean though, every group has their own individual things, but they can't respect that every other group has the same idea but just different things.

yes, this is a factor that is unable to be discounted, but i'm not necessarily speaking from as much of a scientific standpoint as much as a social and literature-type view. i dont necessarily believe in evolution, either. i believe in adaptation, but not evolution. hope you're doing well, talk to ya later!
