I'm sorry for your loss...I too lost a loved one this summer. She was a family friend...family not by birth, sort of thing.

I haven't had moonshine in a good while...my boyfriend's uncle makes his own back in Tennessee...crazy stuff.

Your pictures ticke me so. Kudos.

That's really cool that your grandpa was burried with a can of beer. He seems like the type of person that I'd enjoy being around. :)

i wish everyone could have met my papal. he was hilarious!
we use to prank call him and he would get so pissed off. it was great.

no, papal was my dad's dad, my grandpa.
he was like my dad though. i was with him everyday.

I'm sure he'd smile upon seeing it.

The cornfield and garden you're in look so peaceful. I've been in the city for awhile now and there's a lot I miss about the country and just being away from it all.

when i was younger, i could not wait to move into a big city, then i remember when i moved for college, i use to miss being at home. the 'country' has so much more freedom then living in a city.

And I agree completely. That's basically what happened with me. Now I'm in a smaller city, fairly close to a major one..yet, there's still some space to breathe. It's a happy medium finally.
