"Strange"
Ken thought to himself as he's tried to turn on the computer.
The shopping trip with Wallace was fun, and catching up with Ryo was rather... overwhelming,
but he "had to" at least leave a birthday message to his buddy.
Ken sighed.
"I should've just given him his present at Hanami."
Staring the neatly gift bag, Ken shook his head,
as even the computer refused to work on his favor.
Originally, Ken was going to pay a surprise visit at Daisuke's,
but another unexpected meeting took up a fair length of time than he had originally thought it would.
He sighed again, feeling the sadness begin to sip into his heart.
So much for catching up with him...
First thing in the morning Ken had picked up the phone to call Daisuke.
But it was rather early, so he's decided to drop a call during the day time.
Then, when he tried with his cell phone, every single time there were interferance.
Oddly enough, all other phones, even the public ones seem to not work when he try.
At the time he didn't think much of it, thinking it must be his unlucky day.
After all, he was still able to access other services.
He looked at the clock.
11:30 pm
Honestly, he wanted to collaps into the bed as he was starting to feel a strange headache.
He was having a bit of pain from it, but mostly he couldn't help but feel weirded out,
since it felt more like someone was pulling a strand of hair behind the back of his neck.
Trying to ignore the feeling, Ken turned to his cell phone, in desprate attempt to call his friend.
Oddly enough, though the cell phone was fully charged it didn't turn on.
In fact, everything digital in the household- or even the payphone in the street didn't work when he touched it.
It was like as if the machines are completely ignoring him.
Ken smiled bitterly and threw his cell phone on his bed.
I guess it really isn't a coincidence
He stared at the clock.
It was now 12:00am.
Now that the day is over, he decided to check one more time if it was a temporarly phenominum, and oriented himself towards the TV.
He pressed on button.
Nothing.
He went and pressed numbers on Microwave.
Nothing.
He went and picked up the phone, tried cell phone.
...Nothing.
W, What is this?
Feeling the panic begin to swallow him, he looked around the living room.
From there the city lights were visible through the window.
But then, they started to move in a strange fashion, forming a laughing face.
Ken closed his eyes and swallowed hard.
This can't be real, this can't be real!
When he opened his eyes the lights were gone,
but the flicker of blue light coming from his own room caught his eyes.
The computer was on.
Feeling the black terror coming over him, Ken cautiously moved into the room where his friends were peacefully sleeping.
He stared at the blue screen of the computer, and pressed the controls, trying to find out what was wrong with the machine.
It was then,
He felt a presence behind his back.
