Ken blinked blankly as he found himself sitting on a bus to Odaiba.
Watching the red and yellow scenery pass by, the boy held on tightly to the red container that held apple cider. On the ground right by his feet was box for Takeru. The blue haired boy leaned on the window, inviting sleep.

The driver yelled out Odaiba, when Ken woke up surprised. Tightening his grip on the beverage container, the blue haired boy picked up his box and got off the bus stop that was too familiar to him by now. He sighed, as he walked towards the apartment complex Takeru lives. Upon seeing the gray building, he paused to think a little.

“Oh yeah…” Ken turned around remembering nobody answered when he called earlier.

Unenthusiastically, he headed towards the older blonde’s house.

Yamato was busily getting ready to head to Sora's -- he wasn't about to screw up again. Gabumon was snoring soundly on the bed while Yamato put on his shoes. At the sound of the knocking, Yamato went to the door, opening it with a blank expression. "Mm?"

Ken looked at older boy, and smiled weakly. “Konnichiwa Ishida san.”

"Ah, hey Ken." Yamato's expression dropped to one of contentment. "What's up?"

“Nothing much. I came down here to drop off late birthday present for Takeru, but when I called him earlier he wasn’t home. So I was wondering if you could pass it on to Takeru?” With that blue haired boy handed Yamato a neatly wrapped box.

"...And..." Ken started hesitantly. "Also this." He also handed Yamato the red container.
Nodding, Yamato took the items. "What's in them?"

“Basketball shoes for Takeru’s in the box, and well… and the other one’s apple cider.” He glanced at Yamato knowingly. “…I thought it would be more appropriate for you to visit with it so….” Ken grinned sheepishly.

"You could still give it to him, but I understand." Yamato grinned. "I'm sure he'd really appreciate the shoes."

Ken shook his head. “I meant Mimi, for the apple cider. Congratulations.”

Yamato looked surprised. "W-what? Huh? Me give it to Mimi...?"

Ken nodded. "I read her LJ post. You guys are seeing each other right now, right?"

Yamato's face lit up. "Post?! Who posted about it?!" His voice was a squeak. He wasn't aware there wa sone... did she do it without him knowing?

The blue haired boy shook his head. "It was never mentioned directly, but I can put the two and two together. She did say you've passed on your cold to her....so."
Ken grinned. "I was going to apologize if I was jumping onto conclusions, but your comment just now confirmed it. Congrats."

Yamato looked away for a moment before turning back to him. "What posts made you think so?"

“Well…” Ken paused for a moment. “It wasn’t the posts really…but the way you looked at her back in Halloween concert.”

Yamato smiled a little. "I'm not completely sure if we're going out, but... even then, I'm not sure if I could even tell anyone if I was or not."

The younger boy raised an eyebrow. "May I ask you why? If you're not comfortable with it it's fine...but."

"Well, part of me would love to shove it in Jyou's face, but another part of me prefers secrets." Yamato shrugged. "I'm still worried what the others think of me."

Ken nodded. “It’s okay to be careful I suppose… But do make sure she’s completely over Kido san.” With that the younger boy lowered his head.

Yamato frowned. "That I'm not sure about..."

The blue haired boy looked up to Yamato, and smiled weakly. "Old feelings seem difficult to kill. Do your best and win her over. After all, I don't want you to be hurt."
Yamato laughed. "Thanks, Ken. You're a good kid."

Ken blushed. "Well then... I'll get going..." Ken turned around. "You have to get to some place else yourself right?"

"Yeah, to Sora's before she kills me again." He laughed. "We'll talk soon. I'll drop these over at Takeru's tomorrow since we're going somewhere with Mimi."

Smiling shyly, Ken added as exiting. “Have fun.”

Daisuke, who was snoring asleep on the couch, heard the bell and jolted himself awake. Groaning, he lifted himself up and trudged toward the door. "Mmmf?" He said, as he rubbed his eyes and opened the door.

Ken stared at his best friend flatly. He’s motioned to Daisuke to wipe trail of spit off side of his face, and greeted his best friend. “Hey. Care to let me in?”

Daisuke sleepily wiped the drool from his face and grinned. "Oh yeah, you were coming over. I forgot." Daisuke opened the door and let Ken in, shaking his head. "man, I don't even know how long I was asleep."

“That’s so like you.” Ken smiled, as he’s entered the house. “So buddy, ready to kick some ball?” Standing in the doorway still, with his shoes on, Ken pointed at Daisuke’s soccer ball, and motioned towards outside.

"Uhhh....Yeah. Let me wake up a ltitle first. Make yourself comfortable." Daisuke shuffled into the kitchen to find something to eat. "Hey Ken-kun, want something to drink? Water, Tea, Soda? Anything?" Daisuke let out a big yawn.

“I call hydration.” The blue haired boy commented as he took his shoes off. Walking, Ken browsed around to find messes of laundary formed on floor, and random garbage. He shook his head once again reminding himself he wouldn’t be able to survive in this environment. He went and created bit of spot on the floor in front of the TV, and sat down. Staring upwards, he found a huge poster of Yamato posted right beside the TV. He observed. It’s really weird seeing him on bromide, especially if you’ve seen the real person moments ago.

"Huh? Ken-kun, don't mess with me head. You know I can't deal with that right after a nap. Hey, could you hear me snoring through the door?" He noticed his best friend staring up at the poster, and chuckled. "It's Jun's. I protested, so did my parents, but you can see who won that battle."

“Your sister’s fairly aggressive no?” Ken shook his head. “And yes, I want water please.”

"Aggressive is putting it lightly." Daisuke quickly filled up a glass of water and brought it to Ken. "Here, drink up. I'm ready to go!" It's funny how such a heavy sleeper could go to such a ball of hyperactivity. "I'm going to be making up for missing championships, so watch yourself!"

“Thanks.” Ken hastely drank the cup full of water, and took it to Daisuke’s kitchen. Washing it off, and leaving it to dry, Ken rushed to impatient Daisuke and put on his shoes. “You know I wasn’t selected as the best player for nothing.” Grinning, Ken pet Daisuke’s shoulder. “C’mon. It’s a race, down the stiars.” With that, Ken started to dash downstairs.

"What! No faaaair!" Daisuke whined, but threw his shoes on and raced down the stairs, quickly catching up to Ken. "You're..a..cheater...!" he managed to huff out.

Ken grinned playfully."Do I hear shortage of breath? C'mon buddy. I know you can do better." With that, he picked up his speed.
