It would. If I didn't couple this in my mind with the upcoming A&E-made movie, Wedding Wars, where gays go on strike until they can marry. It's like they are pandering to Bravo's audience with Logo-esque production values/quality of material (although I doubt Logo could afford John Stamos and Eric Dane).
I think it's sweet...an example of consciously choosing to resist heterosexual privledge. Not something I would encourage people to do or not do but I respect it. It's a good avenue for brining up the topic.
Plus, I'm totally going to refer to heterosexual relationships as different-sex couples from now on. *smile*
But those different-sex couple need to make sure that they don't live together in a state where common-law marriages are accepted. Otherwise they will be considered married and their protests are for naught.
