So, in the style of Kate and Colin, I have decided to sleep in tomorrow. I haven't gotten the chance to in about two weeks, so I think I owe it to myself. Unfortunately, this means I must be absent from my Graphic Design class. Oh well, so is life. Besides, Professor McKenna is pregnant, so maybe she won't care too much I am not there ( Read more... )

in one of my classes right now i'm learning that one of the biggest factors that distinguishes humans from other animals is that we are storytellers. we have the ability to tell the story of our own lives and dictate what direction it takes. our stories are inherently connected to one another, weaving in and out as we strive to understand more about the world and ultimately ourselves.

i haven't met a primate yet that could tell me where it came from or where it's going.

food for thought.

Can we break the mold of most relationship pitfalls and clichés? All relationships are unique because people are unique. Well, what you say is true. I am very happy in being who I am, and learning what I have learned. I just get tired of people telling me I am doing something wrong, and that I am in the wrong for going with my feelings. I don't mind people bringing my flaws to my attention, but after months of nagging and talking recycled pointless jargon it becomes monotonous and boring.

Oddly enough, what you write, and how you write is strikingly familiar to what I have heard in the past. Empty rhetoric.

people need to stop taking relationships so seriously. Just go out and enjoy yourself. Meet new people and let the experiences affect you and change you. It's time to stop analyzing!!! Life is short, my friends. Go have fun!
