Skirmishes with Weisdia's monsters are becoming increasingly hard to avoid. It's not as if Lezareno isn't equipped to handling situations such as these, but that doesn't stop it from feeling more than unnecessary. The Castle hasn't been very forthcoming with my requests for a formal meeting discussing whether to ally with OSTA or ANTI to make ( Read more... )

I agree that safety is hard to find these days. That is why the Renegades have begun offering shelter to cilivians. Yet, we cannot house more than a few hundred people in each base and I've been informed that already the maximum capacity is close to being reached.

I would have thought that Altamira, being an island, would be safer than the main land. Apparently, I was mistaken.

I'm glad to hear that the Renegades are doing what they can; I'm in discussion with the board to offer up the hotel as well as possibly close down parts of the city that we don't exactly need to house refugees from both the island and mainland. But most of the board are more concerned about the lack of profits that would produce rather than the lives we could save.

Not so, I'm afraid. And the waterways have become increasingly dangerous as well. Naturally hostile creatures are thriving from the influx of new monsters, becoming braver in turn.

I was under the impression that, as president of Lezareno company, you have the power to overwrite the board's decisions. These are truly sad times, if profits receive a higher priority than innocent lives.

Then I assume sailors will be hesitant to leave port. In return, villages such as Izoold must be suffering from a great amount of stress. They thrive on making business with sailors, after all.

I will overrule them, if they can't settle on their priorities properly. But at the moment its in everyone's best interest to let the issue reach a conclusion which benefits everyone. Preferably quite soon, given the nature of the situation at hand. I think the foremost "problem" lies in choosing which part of the city's amusement aspects to shut down to make place for the civilians.
But it bothers me to see that it should even be something to discuss in the first place. I hope there's no such ridiculous internal dispute amongst the Renegades.

Precisely. However, we're a bit cut off at the moment and I'm unaware of the what the situation is other than on the island itself. If worst comes to the worst we'll have to close the waterways to ensure the safety of the people working aboard the merchant vessels.

I'm not overreacting, Mr Lester, I'm merely expressing my concern for your well being.

Yeah, I'm coming to get him today. There was a bit of a mixup - he was supposed to be picked up by Zelos about a week ago, but he never was.

If you're capable of setting up a meeting with his Majesty with myself and the Renegades in presence, as well as certain other influencial individuals, then you have my gratitude, Zelos.
