the years pass so much quicker than we realize. when we look back on them, it seems like yesterday, and it's hard to make yourself believe it was years and years ago.
Ocho died!!!! :~( Sat down to dinner (of flounder...this may be why he died...he was appalled at my dinner choice) and my friend goes "uh oh" and now I am soooo sadly:(
what kind of cories are they? that's very exciting! we can't get ours to lay eggs for the life of us. did you do anything special? we've been thinking of incorperating some of this rain water we got today...just an experiment.
p.s. one of the girls at work sold the green meanie. :'[ she was like "hey i hope that wasn't your designated puffer in the brackish tank, cause i sold it today" i was like"....oh...well, yes. it was, actually." then i cried. on the inside, of course.
Were y'all out of puffers, or someone wanted That One??
And um, I'm not doing Anything special. These are inherited cories, I'm assuming they're green/gold (which is what I'd had before at the freshwater tank I had the apt.), and really, I'm not doing ANYthing different...and my others never laid eggs. So I'm excited, I need to go get a baby room for the tank, so I don't have to set up a second tank (much to my hubbin's chagrin). It'd be neat to have fry!
someone wanted That One. i suppose they weren't forewarned about his dietary habits :]. that's what they get for taking my puff.
how big are your cories? ooh fry would be so exciting!!! it's been forever since i've had anything breed in my tank. it needs to happen soon. if your afraid of something eating the eggs, then i've heard you can scrape them off with a razor blade, then you could put them in the little babyroom/net thingie. but i guess it depends on what else is in your tank :]
