Another poem thing? Okay. Maybe I should be cool and put it behind a cut, just in case you don't want to read it...
I always thought chartreuse was a shade of red
To describe the backs of ladybugs
Luster of pie cherries
New coat of paint that makes a parked car look like it’s speeding
Passionate flamenco dancing in stiletto heels
The sting of a well-deserved slap on the cheek
Or the subtle, nervous burn of blushing
An integral part of traffic signals
Juxtaposed with amber and green
(Stop)
Brake lights glaring under a new moon
Checkers on a tablecloth
Hiding behind raspberry Jell-O and slices of homegrown tomato
October leaves
Starved for chlorophyll, blazing boldly
Eluding my grasp as they surrender to autumn and nestle down
Chartreuse, it turns out, is a shade of yellow-green
To describe those leaves which haven’t yet
Caught fire and jumped
The End.
Someone at PLU has started up a guitar club, and I really want to be in it. But at the same time, I don't really want to. The only reason I would join is to be involved in something, because I can still jam and have a good time in my room by myself. I'm kind of reclusive like that. Now the first two meetings have gone by, and it might be weird joining in the third week. Meh...
I hate physics when I don't understand it. Hate.
Tomorrow I am going home. Of course I have to rely on my mom to come and get me. I REALLY should get a car up here, but I don't wanna worry about having to park it and stuff. At home there will be some type of celebration for November birthdays in the family (including mine...I am getting realllly old).
Just in case anyone was wondering, facebook will not let you sign up for the high school one unless you have a valid high school e-mail. Disappointing, I know. Also disappointing is the fact that I still have homework to finish. I am going to do that.
