Seems like all the good bands come from Loughborough these days. It's not musically the greatest thing I've ever heard (a bit early Lloyd Cole, but that's not bad) but THOSE LYRICS!

Only just crawled from the pit so probably won't make it anywhere other than the station today, see you in the week.

That's beautiful. I've always argued that good song lyrics justify being described as poetry, and these certainly confirm that. Plus my hankering for a Spaniel pup has just grown even stronger...
