I feel I must bring this to the attention of people. They only wanted £5,500 for their cause, but they have so far (at time of me writing this) raised £26,000. It's such a brilliant idea, that I even gave them some money myself.

Their site seems to be down right now - no doubt under the immense strain of all the people who read your LJ trying to visit that link at once.

Hmm. Now I want a "Think about your moral standards. Try to be a good person. Give everyone and everything respect where due. This is the right thing to do whether or not a god exists (whatever a god might be)." poster on a bus.

I wonder how much money people would pay for that. To quote Graham Chapman once said (albeit in character), "It's like I always say, there's nothing an agnostic can't do if he's really not sure whether he believes in anything or not."

Could this be seen as brainwashing believers in God? It's just a thought? When they have finished with the bus do you think I could borrow it? How cool would that be if I could get them to drive the bus round telling people to be aware of Rogue Traders

I don't think an advert on a bus can be considered as brainwashing.

If you want to see brainwashing, go to a church. Or better still, the "church" of scientology :)
