LOL. Sorry ya'll. I've been less than patriotic today. Actually, I've felt more Chinese today than I ever have since I've been here. AND I was able to use more Chinese (speaking and understanding) than ever before. Hopefully, that will get yue lai yue geng hao (better and better

Mom loved your pics of the Great Wall. I printed them out for her and she's got them around her Chinese music box that Daddy got her a long time ago. It plays "Raindrops keep falling on my head" (I know that's not Chinese, lol) but it's got writing, flowers an the Chinese guy pulling a lil cart inside. I use to just set and watch that lil' guy run around for hours when I was lil. Of course I had to sneak and get it out of Mom's dresser to play with it!
Take Care and Love Ya!

I'm glad your mama liked the pictures. That's so sweet. I saw the cutest lil' music box here but it was way expensive, prob. the equivalent of 30 US dollars. I was like umm, NO WAY! That sounds so cute. You know, its always interesting to know what made us laugh and kept us entertained for hours back then. (hmmm...for me, it was a great big cardboard box, like on Spongebob Squarepants..and Mama used to take it to church and I would play in it)
I will take care and Love ya Miss Becks.. Only one week to go before the study tour starts!! (Which means, I'm almost halfway done with this whole trip!)

It's still interesting to realize what can keep us entertained. I'm always playing with play dough or some other lil toy at day care, LOL.
That's so cute about the box! If only we could still crawl in a box and have as much fun pretending now!
Hope your feeling better, Love Ya!
