Dear Author Letter (Rare Pair exchange)
Dear lovely RarePairs author,
Below the cut is a looong ramble about what I like and don't like. I'm fairly easy going, these are totally guides and not meant to be prescriptive.
But, since as you asked:
I will always and forever love first time fics for OT3s. I love the changing dynamics and learning to live around each other.
I love fics about falling in love, and not necessarily ones with lots of UST or silly people being silly puppies/obliviousness. Curtain!fic, and fic about earning to live with each other is pretty wonderful. My two favourite films are Before Sunrise and Before Sunset, quiet films about falling in love and connecting. There's a quote from Before Sunrise, that sticks with me: If there's any kind of magic in this world it must be in the attempt of understanding someone sharing something. I know, it's almost impossible to succeed but who cares really? The answer must be in the attempt.
I think being into it is the dealbreaker. I want enthusiastic sex, and loving sex, and kinky sex and awkward sex (where both people find it funny, rather than embarrassing).
Epistolary (esp. in the modern age with texts/emails/Skype etc) is brilliant. A story told in diary entries (750words.com?) or in the margins of a book or something similar. Love it.
And man, I guess a lot of this is connecting to headcanons. I adore hearing about other people's headcanons, which is why I don't like restricting people too much, because you never know when you're going to read something that completely changes your views on something, especially people writing from completely different perspectives, and backgrounds, you know?
And this is just a totally personal thing, but I really want to see some fics where the happily ever after bit isn't a scene set four years later when they're married/kids. Curtain!fic for the win
Dislikes/Squicks: Any kind of abuse (references to canon abuse are ok, but nothing too graphic/flashbacky?), non/dub-con, and humiliation.

My headcanon here is that:
Clint and Natasha are partnered but its open and chill, and Bucky and Natasha definitely had a thing when they were both in Russia, and so when Bucky starts coming back the three of them need to deal with that.

My love for Merlin is deep and meaningful. It is the fandom of my heart, and I'll gladly take anything you wish to write.

Forbidden love, meeting in quiet castle corners. 'Hunting trips'.
Modern AUs are also good, I'm pretty open to all kinds of AU. Apocalypse, space, uni, all sorts.

These two need to bond over grieving and teaming up against other evils.
