I've never read a story with this pairing before, and I thought you did a wonderful job. I got the strong sense that Lily felt really stuck in her role as Andy's friend, even if she wanted to be there...you communicated her feelings incredibly well.

The only thing I can say is WOW! You touched the spirit of my prompt. I'd not really thought of Andy/Lily as a pairing but it certainly was within the parameters I'd set in my prompt and it certainly fits. Beautifully done. Just the right amount of angst and a hopeful ending. You words flow almost like verse and draw the reader on. The feelings you express are palpable. It was a wonderful gift you've given me, and from an author who's work I truly admire. Thank you dear lady. It was a rare treat to read this story and know it was written for me.

oooo I really liked this pairing...I didn't think I would be as I was reading it sucked me in within seconds. It was heartbreaking when Lilly had to walk away and I felt a sudden surge of hatred towards Nate...i was like noooo!!! and how could Andy have gotten back with nate

but yay for the little bit of hope at the ending!! you wrote this really well bubs I enjoyed it very much

I think Andy was overwhelmed with the night she spent with Lily, and then to have Lily just dismiss it so callously she just felt like she had to go back to Nate. Sad but probably typical behavior. Yeah the ending needed a little hope.
