A few months ago Petra's hair was waist-length and it was such a hassle to keep it washed and combed that my fingers were positively itching to cut it. After some wheedling on my part, she agreed to let me cut off four or five inches, but it was still much longer than shoulder-length. The past little while she's been talking about getting it cut

I think this blue is what I commonly see as the result of blue hair dye. I've never seen anyone with a deep blue but maybe that's what the YouTuber had? It looks great on her and I hope she's continuing to like it now that the initial shock has passed.

I think she likes it okay. If we'd bleached it one more time before doing the blue, it might have gone brighter, but we'd both reached out limit with the hair-dyeing, I think.

And yeah, the YouTuber's hair pretty much looks like this, so she's pleased enough. :)

If she keeps this hair style until she is old enough to get married, she has one less thing to worry about in her attire. :)
