I wish I lived in California! 4:52 here is a little late for me to go out and find the moon. But I'll check out the virtual replay!

Oh, I remember the picture in your icon from Flickr. Does it have a title, do you know? I did stay up and went to fetch some groceries while I was at it. When I entered the store, it had moved to about 1/3 covered and by the time I emerged it was at 1/8th left of the moon. Very cool effect when it disappeared completely.

You are brave! I was in bed but was still awake when it happened I think. But it was raining last night so... As for the icon, it's an installation at Tate Modern by Olafur Eliasson called "The weather project".

Awww, so you snoozed? I bet a lot of people did too. I'm the eternal night owl as it is so staying up real late is like a proverbial fest for me.

Yup. I totally passed out. I tried... normally I am the night owl too, but for some reason (of course with my luck) I was so exhausted, I didn't make it past 1am.
