I bet you do. German accents speaking English seem to get worse the further south you go. But my Hessian cousin says that's just a rumor... *grins

Yes, it's really like that. I used to say that's how you know you've been in one place for too long - hair and skin adapts and you feel... settled. I love the mild climate here but must say that I *really* miss rain at this point. It's been even more dry than usual, some kind of new record since 1880 or something like that... and it makes me long for balmy, rainy nights, something to break the endless cycle of sun and blue skies. You must get tons of snow and cold in winter. I think I'd like some of that again too for a while. Maybe it's just always what you DON'T have...
