In a nutshell, I was forwarded a copy of an e-mail that Allie's fiance' (supposedly) wrote & I was told to keep it confidential. Normally, I would have, but there were some things in that e-mail I felt Allie had a right to know because they could have destroyed her relationship with her fiance' (had they been true). Well, the person who e-mailed it to me is now mad at me for telling Allie in the first place & things just went from bad to worse. I do feel bad in the sense that I had to break one person's trust to protect someone's feelings, but overall, I felt I did the right thing.

Ah, can see that would be a difficult situation, but my loyalty too would have been for my friend and her right to know. I think you did the right thing as well.
