So in my long rant, I said that Katie Cassidy found out a couple days or the day before that Laurel was the one killed off. Turns out she found out while filming the episode before, which is more notice but still not a lot of notice

Still dodgy, for sure. Have you seen that she's now a series regular across all three shows? I wonder if they told her their plans for The Flash at the time they told her she'd be killed off?

Agreed! But yes, I saw that over the weekend (I had a couple friends that made it to Comic Con - lucky, lol!) and I'm excited about it but I'm also bummed that Guggenheim is adamant that Laurel is staying dead and we're only getting her in flashbacks. I figure on LoT it'll be a toss up between Laurel in the past and Black Siren (poor Sara - the Legion of Doom is, as a friend's husband put it, being set up to be her kryptonite!) while we'll just get Black Siren on The Flash. Unless we visit Earth 3 and she's alive there.

Good question - it'd be interesting to know if she knew she'd be getting the same deal as Wentworth Miller and John Barrowman or if the backlash prompted it or if it was something else.
