I feel that people need to take responsibility for themselves and feel that a socialist government takes away that responsibility, also I feel that I should be able to run my business any way I want because, god forbid, I own it. If, by chance, I don't give fair wages or do something to the environment, I'm sure people will stop using my product or will not be employed by me cause they would take some responsibility in who they work for or what they do to earn a buck and my company will fail. I feel that asking the government for help takes away power from the people increasing the government bloat and hinders the cultural development much the way most of Europe’s culture continues to stagnate (and most of those countries are social democracies).
