more dream diary-ness
Of the first dream I had the night before last, here is what I remember:
I had a puppy, which I ran around with in the dream carrying carefully under one arm. It was a white lab puppy, very adorable, and a male as I recall.
(For the life of me I can't remember the dog's name either ._. ...crud.)
I was on the lam from someone, and I was hiding out at a theme park-type place near a dock. The park had animals like a zoo, but also had rides and attractions, and of course souvenir shops. I hid out at a souvenir shop, and I think that might have been where I picked up the puppy (unless I had the dog the whole time. Meh). At any rate, the shop manager let me hang out there for a time, and I bought some candy. (LOL) After a time it was getting dark, and I felt I had to move on, so I headed out for the bay, and stood around on the docks waiting for a boat to stow away on. It was sunset, and there was a lighthouse in the distance.
I then felt an urgent sense that the person chasing me was getting closer, so I actually jumped in the water and swam out (yes with the puppy) toward a boat that was parked away from the docks. Tucking the puppy under my arm, I somehow climbed the rope with one arm partially subdued, tumbled onto the boat, and set sail (since there was no one else on it). So I kind of stole it. But my timing was well placed, since the man chasing me came running up the dock just as I was pulling out. I hid while sailing away, but I'm not sure whether or not he saw me. He looked hopping mad not to find me there on the dock... and he HAD come running. He glared after the boat, but he seemed to calm himself the more distant I got. He also didn't shoot, though he had a gun. So I can't say for sure if he even saw me on the boat... just suspected.
At that point, the dream ended. It was very interesting. I never figured out if the amusement park was the Zoo, Six Flags, or some strange combination... I'm leaning toward the latter.
If there was more to the dream than that, it has left my memory. Oh well.
The other dream, I said, is a complete blank now... I only remember having two that night. I recall it wasn't as good as the earlier one. o_O
