New 'Supergirl' TV Series Trailer

After seeing a dozen tweets saying something along the lines of "SOGOOD", I caved and clicked over to watch it. It really does look goddamn adorable and I was actually tearing up towards the end (the song choice helped, admittedly). I mean, there's actually a remote chance I might try to watch the actual show here*, but we're talking hunting down

It looks worthy of watching to check it out. I kind of agree with the rom-com vibe some of the comments there say, but there's plenty of room to grow. Especially if it's in the same universe as Flash and Arrow.

I'd never thought before how alarming it is to see a woman start to unbutton and take off her shirt like she's about to flash someone...

I'm good with the rom-com vibe anyway, so there's that. It looks fun and silly and like it might make me laugh in a good way, with bonus cheering.

I don't think it's in the Flash/Arrow universe, at least in terms of actual TV crossovers, just because Supergirl is going to be on CBS. That would be super (heh) entertaining, though. (So many years since Smallville and all the 'super' jokes. <3)

Yeah, so many ways it could still go wrong, but the trailer had a lot to recommend it. My fingers are crossed.
