So on FB and in other realms of my social life, I've been inundated with birth announcements, pregnancy announcements, pregnancy update photos ( omg, 32 weeks and counting, and the like ) as well as fuzzy ultrasound photos and announcements proclaiming, It's a Girl! or Boy!, and birthday announcements that someone now has a [insert age here] zomgz

I haven't experienced a miscarriage or any sort of loss of that magnitude, but I do absolutely know the ache of wanting a baby so badly. I was so afraid at first that I'd never get pregnant, never carry a baby to term, or give birth to a stillborn and return home to a nursery that would stay empty... that sort of fear is a horrible feeling
