Haha! That's cool. :) I'm the same way. Sometimes I try to sing a song and I won't know all the lyrics, but it's still powerful to me.

A friend of my bf once said that I have a powerful voice for a small person. I was singing to a Pat Benatar song at the time, and evidently I sounded like her too. Hehe ^_^ Needless to say, I was like 0.0 ..omg *blush*, lol!

But yeah, music usually does the trick when I need to vent. I usually feel so much better afterward.. unless I'm singing one of those songs that just makes my current emotions swell up even more, then it just makes things worse. It's true what people say.. music has its own vibe. And in turn, it influences you on so many levels. That's what I love about music. Sometimes you just get lost in the feeling. It's great. (:

Haha! :) Somehow I had a similar thought after I posted that comment. Weird. I don't even know how a voice post works. Any of my friends are very lucky to hear me sing.. much more lucky that an online friend hears me sing. I am not terribly confident, but I have my moments. It's just hard to describe to someone. I guess it's like a trust thing. I don't wanna make myself vulnerable and then have someone criticize me for putting myself out there. I'm sure someone like Simon Cowell would have a field day with me. Blah :P But I'm not auditioning for American Idol, lol.

All I'm gonna say is, don't hold your breath. I don't want to disappoint anyone.
