om my GAWWWWDDDDD. for anybody who use to hang out at 'the planet' coffeeshop on 4th street, i must warn you: the new place 'the purple perk' is AWFUL. oh my god. i almost cried....seriously. they had this ridiculous elevator music playing and its been yuppified soooooo much its crazy! i mean, i knew with new owners the vibe of how it use to be ( Read more... )

It's like when they changed Terra Nova on 17th ave, close to Lululemon and Detours... it went from 'comfortable funky' to all bad spacey weird...there were fractal-mirrors on the floor and I couldn't wear skirts there anymore. It just went bad. So we stopped going :(

which was too bad, so many mem'ries there. Then it closed down.

I used to love Terra Nova!

Same with the Coup, where Soda is now. Although I'm glad Soda exists for Chimera...
